Dr McRae provides individualised gynaecological care for a broad range of benign gynaecological problems in girls and women of all age, race and sexual preference with sensitivity.

She is holistic and evidence based in her approach, which includes conservative, medical and surgical management with a preference for minimally invasive surgical techniques.

She provides a Saturday consultation service for her antenatal women.

Dr Alexandra McRae is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) having achieved the highest mark of all candidates in her written membership examination.

She is a member of the RANZCOG Board of Examiners, a lecturer for the Diploma in Child Health /International Postgraduate Paediatric certificate and is regularly invited to lecture General Practitioners, Paediatricians and RANZCOG trainees and fellows at educational meetings including the annual NSW RANZCOG pre Membership exam course.

The sorrow and joys of her own reproductive journey to motherhood have given Alexandra an extra level of empathy and knowledge that cannot be taught.
